Issac & Marnie - Rosemount Estate Ohoka

Marnie and Issac tied the knot this past weekend at Rosemount estate in Ohoka, surrounded by their closest crew who'd journeyed from Auckland, Samoa, London, Australia, and Christchurch to witness their "I do"s!

I kicked off the day hanging with Issac and his crew at a cool Airbnb in Christchurch, sharing stories about how they all met and the good times they've had. I could tell it was going to be an awesome day – these guys knew how to keep the vibes chill and the laughs rolling. Then, it was off to Rosemount, where Marnie and her squad were finishing up their hair and makeup and getting ready to rock.

Let me tell you, Marnie was the definition of "chill bride." She was all smiles, not a care in the world. Despite Mother Nature being undecided between downpours and sunshine, Marnie had no hesitation about having the ceremony outside, rain or shine.

Fortunately, the clouds parted, the ceremony was beautiful, and just as everyone was digging into some delicious bites from the Social Platter Co., a bit of thunder shook things up. We rolled with it, even using umbrellas for some impromptu photos. Eventually, we found shelter and snapped some great shots under the sails.

Right before the reception, the sky cleared again, and we captured some amazing portraits. The rest of the night was a blast – great food, an awesome cake all the way from Auckland, and tons of traditional Samoan traditions and tunes. DJ Spinal kept the party going strong!

As the night wound down, we snuck outside for some gorgeous sunset shots. I let Marnie and Issac have a quiet moment before heading home, stoked to work on their photos.

This first wedding of 2024 was definitely one to remember!
