Kim and John
John and Kimberley couldn’t wait any longer to be husband and wife, so they invited their nearest and dearest around for a house warming / Christmas / engagement party... when the guests arrive they saw it was none of the above events.... it was in fact their wedding day!!!
The day was full of fun and laughter, family and friends mingling with each other, big hugs for those they hadn’t seen in awhile.
The sun was shining and the drinks flowing, children running around bringing pure excitement and joy to the occasion!
Kim and John had transformed their garden into the wedding venue brides dream of, with string lights over head, a dance floor, numerous seating areas, outdoor dining and a games area. Amongst beautifully trimmed hedges and roses of every colour and size! The view was stunning, with the Forest to your left and the mountains and horses to your right.
Kimberley was lead out by the bag pipes playing amazing grace, and the most beautiful bridal party ever!! Even Polo their puppy dog!!
Her mum and dad both walked her down the isle, where John was waiting with a big smile on his face. During the ceremony there wasn’t a dry eye in the place! Both John and Kim wrote their own vows to one another, speaking from the heart about how much love they share. A good friend of theirs Chris actually became an offical celebrant for the sole purpose of marrying Kim and John, which made it even more special!
Everyone worked together to get dinner ready, which was a delicious buffet. Kimberley’s dad and brother were carving the meat, as mums and aunties helped get the salads ready.
As the sun began to set I stole them away for 5 minutes to capture some images with their amazing views as our backdrops. Kim and John wanted the whole day to be fun and casual and that’s exactly what we did for their couples photos!
No night is complete without the iconic “wagon wheel” so Kim and John had this as their first dance, the sun slowly descended down into the pine trees behind them as danced away! The band Headrush did an amazing job of keeping the guests on their feet dancing the night away!
